Youth at Arab FUMC are considered grades 7 - 12 
with Junior high grades 7 - 8 and Senior high grades 9 - 12 
 
So glad you visited this  site.  We have a wide variety of opportunities here at Arab FUMC for youth to participate in. 
The following is our current youth happenings.  
Please see Youth Opportunities for info about our entire program. Hope you can join us for one or more of the youth activities. 
Come be a part of the youth as they grow in their faith and share fellowship in a Christian atmosphere.

Youth Happenings as of September 1, 2010
Weekly youth happenings can be found at the church’s web site www.arabumc.com.
Also posted weekly on the Youth House bulletin board on enclosed porch 
next to main entrance door.
 
Wednesday September 1— monthly mopping at TESA (meet at /in TESA at 4pm)
fellowship at Youth House 5 to 6pm; One Voice 6-7pm
 
Sunday September 5930am Youth Sunday School class meets in the church library and 1045am Youth Sunday School classes meet in the Youth House
**Sunday pm youth activities (MYF/Bible Study) from 6 to 730pm in the Youth House
 
Wednesday September 8—fellowship at Youth House 5 to 6pm;
     One Voice 6-7pm
***********************UPCOMING EVENTS********************
5th Quarters are Sept 10, Oct 1, Oct 8, Oct 22 (homecoming), and Oct 29. Fun, food and fellowship at the Youth House after all Friday night home high school football games, lasting from the end of the game until 1130pm and open for all area youth. 
 
Knightfest is September 11 and 12
Knightfest is a revamped community fair sponsored by the city of Arab. The youth ministry of AFUMC will be sponsoring the movie “To Save A Life” at the old Arab Rec Center in Arab City Park. The movie will be shown at 7pm on Saturday September 11.   Event is free. Invite one and all.
 
See You At The Pole is September 22 during which students around the world gather at their school’s flagpole before the start of the school day and pray together.
 
Overflow II is October 16 from 6 to 10pm outside at the Youth House. This is a youth program consisting of talks, testimonies, music, bands, etc. done by youth for community youth. Free fun, food and fellowship.
 
Xtreme Winter is Dec 31 to Jan 2 in Gatlinburg Tennessee.
20 lucky youth will be going to Gatlinburg to have winter fun+celebrate the New Year +
1. hear music by such artists as: Skillet, Tenth Avenue North, Newsong, MercyMe, Newsboys, Francesca B, Unhindered +
2. hear talks by such speakers as:   Matt Pitt, Tony Nolan, Johnny Hunt, Josh McDowell.
This event will be opened initially to senior high youth with remaining slots offered to interested junior high youth. Reservations will consist of completed registrations and money deposits. 
Registration form became available as of August 25 for 10th through 12th graders.
